Abstract

PT Pelindo Cirebon responsible for regulating the process of berthing ship activities to be smooth and timely in the process of operational activities at the port. In conveying information, it is important as well as arrangements for good anchoring activities and according to the agency services that have been offered by the company to the rules of SOP for docking ships at the port of Cirebon must be appropriate to ensure the smoothness of the berthing, but in reality in the field all matters relating to berthing ships sometimes do not. According to the rules that cause delays in anchoring activities and make further activities hampered and delayed. Therefore, the author takes the title Procedure for Delaying Ships at PT Pelindo Cabang Cirebon. In this case the author concludes that PT Pelindo Cabang Cirebon has carried out the ship delaying process in accordance with the procedure, so that when delaying the ship it can be maximal and effective and when carrying out the ship delaying process it has important stages, and knowing in advance the preparations that must be made before the delay, such as ship documents, until it is declared capable of being carried while sailing so that the ship can be declared seaworthy. The observation is to find out what factors are caused by some of the existing problems and the impact of these factors and what efforts are being made to minimize and anticipate ship docking delays.
