Abstract

Office case is a series staple in shipping activities as mandated in the Standard Training certificate of Watch Keeping (STCW) 1995 as well as the standard certificate of Watch Keeping Training Vessel Personnel (STCW-F) in 1995, to optimize the prevention of collisions at sea. Once the importance of safety during sailing, the official activities of guard becomes a must for skipper on each boat. International Regulations Preventing Collisions at Sea (PIMTL) in 1972 actually aimed at preventing collisions at sea in order to boost the sailors more awareness and discipline in order to create a better shipping and secure. As a problem-solving collision prevention at sea aboard the government to discuss international conference on SOLAS. Here introduced a lamp pole both for ships in length of 150 feet or more. Also required to install a stern lights are fixed, and introduced cue attention in the form of at least five short and rapid inflatable. Along with advances in technology, namely the operation of radar on board, and many more as collision prevention rules ships at sea.
