Abstract

National Search and Rescue Agency as the implementing agency and fostering potential control of Search and Rescue as well as providing assistance in disasters and other disasters in accordance with National regulations and the International Maritime Organization (IMO) and International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) Medical First Responder (MFR). the first to arrive at the scene, who have medical skills in handling emergency cases, trained at the most basic level. The purpose of MFR is to reduce casualties and we can also quickly respond to victims so that they do not become fatal and claim lives. Therefore, seafarers in Indonesia must understand MFR as first aid for victims at sea to reduce and prevent the number of victims. No less important, the author includes techniques of aid in treating victims of arm and leg fractures due to accidents at sea. So that the handling of victims can run properly according to applicable rules and can minimize casualties due to mishandling. Keywords: Search and Rescue, Medical First Responder, Fractures
