Abstract

Traffic problem is an issue that the growing national berakala in tune with the development of society. Problems encountered today is still high number of road accidents due to lack of awareness of safety driving. There are many factors that affect driving safety such as road conditions, vehicle conditions, driver behavior, knowledge in driving. The problem formulation of research objectives and hypotheses in this study was to analyze is there a positive influence, both individually and simultaneously between the independent variables are the road conditions, vehicle conditions, driver behavior, and knowledge in driving the dependent variable safety driving. In this study, the object is taken motorcyclists road users Majapahit Semarang. Data sources include primary data and secondary data. Samples in this study was 100 respondents. Data analysis technique is linear regression. Based on the results of research and analysis produced multiple equation: Ŷ = 0,007 + 0,182 X1 + 0,272 X2 + 0,143 X3 + 0,389 X4 + akXk The results of multiple linear regression equation shows that there is a positive influence partially between the condition of the road for the safety of driving a motorcycle (t count, 3.195 > t table, 1.9853), the condition of the vehicle to safety driving a motorcycle (t count, 5.112 > t table , 1.9853), the behavior of the driver of the motorcycle driving safety (t count, 2.921 > t table, 1.9853), and knowledge of driving the motorcycle driving safety (t count, 6.338 > t table, 1.9853). As for kelayaikan test model (F count, 98.910 > F table, 2.47). Four variables influence the research is very strong with a correlation value R = 0,798. In simulat variable road conditions, vehicle conditions, driver behavior, and knowledge of driving affects 79,8% of the safety of driving a motorcycle and 20,2% are influenced by the variables that were not detected in this study. Keywords: Safety Driving Motorcycles Road Conditions, Vehicle Condition, Driver Conduct, Knowledge In Driving.
