Abstract
The writing is motivated by frequent accidents at sea such as the incident of a ship collision between MV ships. Habco Pioneer and fishing vessel KM. Barokah Jaya occurs around the coast of Cirebon and Indramayu so the author will discuss how to survive if you fall into the sea by understanding the survival support factors and understanding how to avoid existing dangers. The purpose of this writing is to know how to survive, safety-supporting factors, and understand the dangers if you fall into the sea. The data obtained is the result of observations in the field, interviews with rescuer members, and literature studies. The result is that the way of survival is divided into two, namely when falling into the sea alone must understand how to use a life jacket, how to float with a life jacket or without a life jacket, understand the factors supporting survival, and can overcome various threats that exist if falling into the sea.
