Abstract
Weather is one thing that is very influential on life, especially in the world of shipping because weather conditions can change at any time. The Tanjung Emas Semarang Class II Maritime Meteorological Station is one of the Technical Implementation Groups under BMKG which is a non-departmental institution engaged in services, the Tanjung Emas Semarang Class II Maritime Meteorological Station is one of the Technical Implementation Groups under BMKG which is a non-profit Department engaged in the service sector. So that weather information services are now very much needed by almost all levels of society for daily purposes. In this scientific paper, the author uses a qualitative descriptive method, while the data collection methods used are interviews, observations and literature related to information services, especially when providing weather information. The process of providing weather information services can run smoothly, quickly and safely. The Class II Maritime Meteorological Station of Tanjung Emas Semarang should further improve the required infrastructure and discipline employees who carry out field activities well. For the procedure for delivering weather information by the Tanjung Emas Class II Maritime Meteorological Station, Semarang to a wide audience, use the website so that users can make the most of it. The Class II Maritime Meteorological Station Tanjung Emas Semarang itself also has various tools to support weather data collection, such as Campbell Stokes, Open Pan (Evaporimeter), Anemometer, Automatic Weather Station (AWS), and Rain gauge. For the use of services, it is necessary to comply with the rules set by the Tanjung Emas Semarang Class II Maritime Meteorological Station, so that services can be carried out properly.
