Abstract
Propeller marine vessels are one of the important components of a ship. The propeller is shaped like a windmill that moves to produce energy. This part has a direct connection with the ship's engine. Damage to the propeller, especially on the propeller leaves, affects the performance of the ship. The power transferred from the engine cannot be absorbed to the maximum. The purpose of writing is to find out the repair procedure on the propeller. Knowing how to balance on the propeller. To know how to care on the propeller. The methods used in this paper include: Library Studies taken from book sources and the internet. The interview method is taken from the supervisor. and documentation is taken from practical activities.The repair procedure on propeller leaves that have crack defects by grinding the cracked part to break the path. Maintenance of propellers on marine vessels. The process of balance testing or balance testing on a propeller is also very important. Aims to find out whether each blade blade or propeller balance. Maintenance on the propeller is very important to support the speed performance on the ship. Because this propeller has a very important role to advance a ship. Furthermore, if it has been repaired, the propeller is reassembled. The propeller repair process aims to reduce excessive vibration in the ship's body caused by rotation from the propeller.
