Abstract
The injector is a component in a diesel motor that functions to atomize fuel into the combustion chamber. Injector maintenance on the fuel atomization system is very important so that the combustion process occurs with homogenization combustion. Based on the background that has been stated, problems can be formulated, among others, the weakening of the injector pressure caused by lack of maintenance on the injectors and the lack of maintenance on the fuel injectors. The purpose of this paper is to find out the cause of the weakening of the injector pressure and how to treat the injectors that cause incomplete combustion of the injectors in the auxiliary engine. The author uses the observation method, namely collecting direct or indirect data and using the interview method by asking someone who is an informant or respondent. The observation method, for example, observing damage to the injector and the interview method by asking the officer on board. The results obtained are that the injector pressure becomes normal and good according to engine specifications, fuel spraying into the combustion chamber becomes good, fuel supply to the injectors becomes smooth and normal, and combustion timing performance returns to normal. In this paper, it can be concluded that the cause of the less than optimal performance of the injectors is due to a lack of maintenance on the injectors. Keywords : Injector, Maintenance, Pressure
