Abstract

Indonesia is a country that has a geographical shape in the form of an archipelago and as much as two-thirds of Indonesia's territory is water territory. So this is what makes Indonesia often referred to as a maritime country. One of the reasons why Indonesia is called a maritime country is because of its strategic waters position. Indonesia has waters such as seas and straits, which are often used as transportation routes both nationally and internationally. This study aims to determine the effect of service quality, ship facilities, safety and timeliness have a positive and significant effect on passenger satisfaction on the KMC Express Bahari 3F ship karimunjawa-jepara route. The population in this study was taken from KMC ship service users. Express Bahari 3F to karimunjawa-jepara and the sample used in this study was 100 respondents. The sampling technique used is the type of incidental sampling technique. The analytical method used in this research is descriptive analysis and quantitative analysis, then the data is analyzed using multiple linear regression with the help of (software) Statistical Package For Social Science (SPSS). The results of hypothesis testing indicate that the variables of service quality, ship facilities, safety and punctuality have a positive and significant effect on passenger satisfaction at KMC Express Bahari 3F to Karimunjawa-jepara. The results of multiple linear regression analysis obtained Y = 1.753 + 0.342 X1 + 0.256 X2 + 0.232 X3 + 0.302 X3 + . From the equation, it is known that the most dominant variable affecting passenger satisfaction is the service quality variable with a regression coefficient of 0.342. The adjusted R Square test obtained results of 0.600 or 60%, which means that passenger satisfaction on KMC Express Bahari 3F service users is influenced by variables of service quality, ship facilities, security and timeliness by 60% and other factors that affect passenger satisfaction on KMC service users. Express Bahari 3F is 40%. Keywords: Quality of Service, Ship Facilities, Security and Timeliness.
