Abstract

This research on Optimization of Parking Retribution Revenue at Terminal Type C Randudongkal to Increase Regional Revenue of the Pemalang Transportation Service (Case Study at Terminal C Randudongkal Baru)” aims to identify and describe the causes of not achieving the target of parking retribution revenue at the new Randudongkal terminal and Optimization of Retribution Revenue Parking at Randudongkal Type C Terminal to Increase Regional Revenue of the Pemalang Transportation Service. Parking levies are one element of potential regional levies. The object of this research is Pemalang City Government which is developing in Central Java Province. This research is a descriptive research. The focus of this research is the target and realization of parking service retribution income at the Randudongkal Type C Terminal for the 2021-2022 fiscal year and how to optimize the Pemalang City Transportation Service in achieving the parking service retribution revenue target at the Terminal. The research location is in Randudongkal baru-Pemalang with research sites at the Pemalang City Transportation Service Office and the Pemalang City Regional Finance Agency, Central Java. Data collection techniques in this study were interviews and documentation. This research is expected to be able to describe the object systematically to improve regional finance in terms of the tax sector, namely parking fees. The results obtained from this study indicate that the realization of parking retribution income at the Randudongkal Baru Terminal has not reached the target starting from 2121 to 2022 due to internal factors, namely the absence of a set target for the amount of deposits where this is less helpful in optimizing parking retribution income and from external factors. namely the weather and time that are difficult to predict or change as well as the efforts that have been made by the Pemalang City Transportation Service in achieving the retribution target of Randudongkal Baru Terminal.
