Abstract
Sailing safety is very important and occupies a central position in all aspects of the shipping world. Dedication to Shipping Safety tends to result in material, medical, environmental pollution and loss of life. However, seeing the increasing number of ship accidents from year to year and the increasing number of fatalities, shipping safety needs extra attention. This study aims to influence the Seaworthiness of Ships, the Role of KSOP, and the Persian ISM Code in the Study of Shipping Safety in KM. Lawit PT PELNI Semarang Branch. Passengers on Ship KM. Lawit PT PELNI Semarang Branch and the sample used is non-probability sampling with incidental sampling. The analytical method used in this research is descriptive analysis and quantitative analysis, then the data is analyzed using multiple linear regression with the help of software (Statistical Package For Social Science (SPSS). The results of the hypothesis test show that the variables of Shipworthiness, Role of KSOP, and ISM Code have an effect on The results of multiple linear regression analysis obtained Y = -0.769 + 0.312X1 + 0.437X2 + 0.315X3 + U. From the equation, it is known that the most dominant variable affecting Shipping Safety is the variable The role of KSOP with a regression coefficient of 0.437. Testing R2 (R square) shows the results of 0.757 or 75.70% which means that Shipping Safety is influenced by the variables of Shipworthiness, Role of KSOP, and ISM Code 75.70% and other factors that affect Shipping Safety that is equal to 24.30%.
