Abstract
Transportation is the lifeblood of a very large role in supporting the wheels of national development. One of the means of sea transportation is sea transportation in the form of a ship which is a very vital means of transportation for transporting passengers, goods and vehicles. This study aims to determine the supervision, work environment, equipment facilities, operations to support the effectiveness of loading and unloading dry bulk at Tanjung Intan Port, Cilacap. The population in this study was taken from the Tanjung Intan Cilacap Unloading Power Cooperative (TKBM) and the sample used in this study was 82 respondents. The sampling technique used is probability sampling with the type of sampling, namely Simple Random Sampling. The analytical method used in this research is descriptive analysis and quantitative analysis, then the data is analyzed using multiple linear regression with the help of (software) Statistical Package For Social Science (SPSS). The results of the hypothesis test show that the variables of Supervision, Work Environment, Equipment Facilities, Operations have a partial effect on the Effectiveness of Dry Bulk Unloading at Tanjung Intan Port, Cilacap. The results of multiple linear regression analysis obtained : Y = -0.740 + 0.297X1 + 0.302X2 + 0.236X3 + 0.241X4 +µ. From this equation, it is known that the most dominant variable affecting the effectiveness of loading and unloading is the work environment variable with a regression coefficient of 0.302. The R2 (R square) test obtained the results of 0.283 or 28.3% which means that the variable of loading and unloading effectiveness is influenced by the variables of Supervision, Work Environment, Equipment Facilities, Operations which is 28.3% and other factors that affect the effectiveness of loading and unloading are equal to 71.7%.
