Abstract
Transportation has an important role in realizing the insight of the archipelago can strengthen national resilience and plays a very important role in terms of community mobility, especially in the movement of goods and services. person, Bus transportation is the main choice for inter-city and inter-provincial transportation which is considered capable of responding to community needs. However, in its implementation. Many problems are encountered such as accidents. The number of traffic accidents in Indonesia is still high, but it is not balanced by awareness of the importance of safety. The formulation of the problem, research objectives, and hypotheses in this study is to analyze whether there is a positive and significant influence between the variables independent, namely driver behavior, driver health, knowledge driver and vehicle condition on the dependent variable, namely safety passenger. In this study, the object taken is the PO driver. Ray Jaya. The sample in this study was 100 respondents. The data analysis technique is multiple linear regression techniques. Based on the results of the research and multiple linear analysis, the following equations are generated: Y= 1.215 + 0.433.X1 + 0.554.X2 +0.243.X3 +- 0.270.X4 + Based on the calculation of SPSS (Statistical Package for Social Science) version 25.0, a linear regression equation is obtained: where the driver behavior variable (X1) in the partial test the calculation: the number t count of 3.861 > t table of 1.98498., which means that there is positive and significant influence between driver behavior (X1) on passenger safety (Y). The t-count between the driver's health variable (X2) and passenger safety (Y) is 4.458 > t table is 1.98498. This shows that there is a positive and partially significant influence between the two variables. Driver knowledge variable (X3) with a t-count value of 2.357 > t-table with a value of 1.98498. This matter shows that there is a positive and significant influence partially between the two variables. The vehicle condition variable (X4) with a t-count value of -2.099 > t-table with a value of 1.98498. partially visible positive and significant influence on passenger safety (Y).
