Abstract
Effectiveness comes from the word effective which means the effect, influence, can bring results. Effectiveness is also defined as a measure of success in achieving predetermined goals. The effectiveness of Dwelling Time is the time it takes for containers to arrive at the port and loading and unloading is carried out on the ship until it leaves the port, after completing the document processing and outgoing payments. There are several factors that affect the length of Dwelling Time, and of course Dwelling Time is quite detrimental in terms of the economy, land and others. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of Equipment, Goods Tracking, Equipment Operator and TPKS Stacking Locations on Dwelling Time at Tanjung Emas Port, Semarang. This research was conducted at Tanjung Emas Port, Semarang. The sample used was loading and unloading workers at the TKBM Cooperative at Tanjung Emas Port, Semarang. The data was collected using the method of observation, literature study, documentation, and questionnaires. The analysis technique used is multiple linear regression with the help of SPSS V.25 program. Based on the results of research and multiple analysis, the following equations are generated: Y= -1.661+ 0,353 X1 + 0, 242 X2 + 0, 216 X3 + 0,315 X4 +µ Where the variables of Dwelling Time Effectiveness (Y), Loading and Unloading Equipment (X1), Goods Tracking (X2), Equipment Operators (X3) and TPKS Stacking Locations (X4) were tested using the t test showing that the four independent variables partially have a significant influence on The effectiveness of Dwelling Time as the dependent variable. The Adjusted R Square figure of 0.658 indicates that 65.8% of the Dwelling Time Effectiveness variable can be explained through the four independent variables in the regression equation. While the remaining 34.2% is explained by other variables outside the four variables used in this study.
