Abstract

Traffic safety is influenced by several factors, including Driver Discipline, Law Enforcement, Motor Conditions and Road Conditions. Of the four, it has an important role in improving traffic safety with satisfactory results. The purpose of this study was to determine whether or not there was an influence of Driver Discipline, Law Enforcement, Motor Conditions and Road Conditions on Traffic Safety on Jalan Raya Demak-Semarng (KM 10 – KM 15). Raya Demak-Semarng (KM 10 – KM 15) with a sampling system with a total of 100 respondents (sample). The variables in this study consisted of: the independent variable was Driver Discipline (X.1), Law Enforcement (X.2), Motor Condition (X.3) and Road Condition (X.4) and the dependent variable was Traffic Safety (Y). ). The research model is multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the analysis using the SPSS V.16 statistical tool program obtained multiple linear regression equations Y = 6.122 + 0.243 X1 - 0.098 X2 + 0.054 X3 + 0.293 X4. The results of the multiple linear equations indicate that there is a significant positive and negative effect of variables including Driver Discipline on Traffic Safety (t count 2.127 > t table 1.98447), Law Enforcement on Traffic Safety (t count – 0.919 < t table 1, 98447), Traffic Safety Motor Condition (t count 2,233 > t table 1,98447), and Road Traffic Safety Condition (t count 2,552 > t table 1,98447) individually, Rider Discipline, Law Enforcement, Motor Condition and Condition Roads affect Traffic Safety. The influence of the four research variables is strong with a coefficient value (R Square) obtained by 53.2% on Traffic Safety and 46.8% is influenced by variables that are not detected in this study. Keywords: Driver Discipline, Law Enforcement, Motor Condition and Road Conditions and Traffic Safety
