Abstract

Productivity of loading and unloading is the result or output of speed in handling goods. The object of research in this research is PT. Pelindo (Persero) Tanjung Balai Karimun Branch. Productivity of loading and unloading is influenced by various factors including loading and unloading equipment, operational performance and the number of work gangs. All three have an important role in influencing the productivity of loading and unloading. The purpose of this study was to determine whether there was an influence of loading and unloading equipment, operational performance and the number of work gangs of PT. Pelindo (Persero) Tanjung Balai Karimun Branch). The sample in this study 100 respondents who are employees of PT. Pelindo (Persero) Tanjung Balai Karimun Branch, using random sampling technique. The analytical technique used is Multiple Linear Regression. Based on this analysis, the following regression equation was obtained: Y = 0,733+0,333X1+0,203X2+0,385X3 +µ From the regression equation, it can be seen that the most dominant variable affecting loading and unloading equipment variables (X1), operational performance (X2), the number of work gangs (X3) has a contribution of 56.1% in influencing loading and unloading productivity (Y). While other factors that affect loading and unloading productivity (100% - 56.1%) = 43.9%. So, the remaining 43.9% other variables that were not proposed in this study. Keywords: Loading and Unloading Equipment, Operational performance, number of aisles, and loading and unloading productivity.
