Abstract
PT. KAI INDONESIA is the only provider of rail transportation services in Indonesia. Semarang Poncol Station (code SMC) is one of two train stations in the city of Semarang. This study aims to determine the effect of physical form, responsiveness, reliability and empathy on passenger interest in using the Kaligung Train. The population in this study were Kaligung Train users at Semarang Poncol Station and the sample used in this study was 100 respondents. The sampling technique used is non-probability sampling purposive sampling type, then the data is analyzed using multiple linear regression with the help of (software) Statistical Package For Social Science (SPSS) Version 25. The regression formulation in this study is as follows: Y = 1,735 + 0,335X1 + 0,291X2 + 0,256X3 + 0,247X4 + µ From the equation, it is known that the most dominant variable affecting Passenger Interest is the Physical Form variable with a regression coefficient of 0.335. The R2 (R Square) test obtained results of 0.619 or 61.9%, which means that passenger interest is influenced by variables of physical form, responsiveness, reliability and empathy, which is 61.9% and other factors that influence passenger interest in using the Kaligung train, namely by 38.1%.
