Abstract
Shipping safety is a condition that meets safety and security requirements concerning transportation in the waters around ports and ports. Juwana Harbor is a port located in Pati Regency and is also the center of the brass craft industry, furniture craft industry, shipbuilding industry, batik craft industry, district fisheries center and cultural center. This study aims to determine the effect of ship's seaworthiness, ship manning, and navigational aids on shipping safety. The population in this study were fish fishermen in the port of Juwana and the number of samples used in the study were 97 respondents. The sampling technique used is non-probability sampling type sampling purpose, then the data is analyzed using multiple linear regression with the help of the application (software) Statistic Package for Social Science (SPSS) Version 26. The formulation of the regression in this study is as follows : Y = 2,743 + 0,400X1 + 0,065X2 + 0,309X3 + µ From this equation, it is known that the most dominant variable affecting shipping safety is the seaworthiness of the ship with a regression coefficient of 2.743. The R (R Square) test obtained results of 0.48 or 48% which means that shipping safety is influenced by the variables of shipworthiness, ship crewing, and shipping navigational aids which are 48% and other factors that affect shipping safety at Juwana port, Pati Regency. that is 52%.
