Abstract
Compliance with traffic is a condition of a citizen who is submissive and obedient to a rule (law) that applies. Tlogosari Simpang Lima is an intersection that connects several roads between Soekarno Hatta Arterial Road, Supriyadi Street, Tlogosari Raya Street and Medoho Street. This study aims to determine the effect of motorist traffic knowledge, law enforcement and traffic culture on traffic compliance at Simpang Lima Tlogosari Semarang City. The population in this study were four and two-wheeled drivers who passed through the intersection and the sample used in this study was 100 respondents. The sampling technique used is non-probability sampling incidental sampling type, then the data is analyzed using multiple linear regression with the help of (software) Statistical Package For Social Science (SPSS) Version 25. The regression formulation in this study is as follows:Y = 0,933 + 0,308X1 + 0,393X2 + 0,206X3 + µ From this equation, it is known that the most dominant variable influencing traffic compliance is law enforcement with a regression coefficient of 0.393. The R2 (R Square) test obtained results of 0.56.3 or 56.3% which means that traffic compliance is influenced by the driver's knowledge of traffic, law enforcement and traffic culture, which is 56.3% and other factors that affect compliance with traffic at Simpang Lima Tlogosari, Semarang City, which is 43.7%.
