Abstract

Pedestrian facilities are all complementary buildings provided for pedestrians in order to provide services for smoothness, security and comfort, as well as safety for pedestrians. The construction of pedestrian facilities must be planned by prioritizing the safety, security and comfort of pedestrians. The planning of this facility should refer to the provisions in the Regulation of the Minister of Public Works no. 3 of 2014 Vehicle speed is the condition of the driver driving a vehicle traveling at high speed by exceeding the specified speed limit. The speed of the vehicle is very influential on the accident rate for pedestrians and vehicle users. Pedestrian Characteristics is one of the main factors needed in the design and planning of pedestrian facilities. The basic characteristics of pedestrian traffic flow in the form of flow, speed, density can be observed and studied at microscopic and macroscopic levels. Some characteristics of pedestrians at the macroscopic level, for example, are the distance traveled, the purpose of the trip or socio-economic characteristics. The study of pedestrian characteristics is very important because the determination of dimensions, materials, and the selection of the type of facility to be implemented is strongly influenced by the characteristics of the users of the facility, namely pedestrians . The definition of an accident is an event (event) that causes harm to a person. The incident of being hit by a pedestrian by a motorized vehicle user is a traffic accident. Traffic accident is an incident on the road that is unexpected and unintentional involving a vehicle with or without other road users resulting in human casualties and or property loss Based on the results of the research and multiple analysis, the following equations are produced: Y = 0.476 + 0.382 X1 + 0.381 X2 + 0.205 X3 + μ shows that, based on empirical data (the results of filling out the questionnaire) and the results of multiple linear regression, it shows that the variable Pedestrian Facilities (X1) has a value tcount 3.985 > ttable 1.98638 then, H0 rejected and Ha accepted. Vehicle Speed Variable (X2) has a value ofcount 5.081table 1,98638 then, H0 isrejected andHa accepted. The Pedestrian Characteristics Variable (X3)has a tcount t-table of 1.98638, hence, H0 isrejected anda accepted. Pedestrians against Pedestrian Accidents.
