Abstract
Safety is a state of security, in a safe condition physically, socially, spiritually, financially, politically, emotionally, occupationally, psychologically, or educationally and protected from threats to these factors. In a shipping activity, safety is a very important factor and is always maintained in order to create zero accidents. This study aims to determine the analysis of the effect of the Health Protocol, Ship Crew, and Port Health Office factors on the shipping safety of PT. Jemla Ferry Ketapang Branch. This research was conducted on the crew of PT. Jemla Ferry Ketapang Branch as population. Data was collected through the methods of Observation, Literature Study, Interview, Documentation and Questionnaire. The analytical technique used is based on the results of research and multiple analysis with the help of the SPSS V.23 program Based on the results of research and multiple analysis resulted in the following equation: Y = 2.736 + 0.288X1 + 0.272X2 + 0.236X3 + µ From the multiple linear regression equation, it can be seen that the most dominant variable affecting the company's shipping safety is the Health Protocol variable with a regression coefficient of 0.288. With the coefficient of determination (Adjusted R square) the result is 0.730 or 73% which means that the Shipping Safety at PT. Jemla Ferry Ketapang Branch is influenced by the variables Health Protocol, Crews, and port health office which is 73% and other factors that affect Shipping Safety on ships owned by PT. Jemla Ferry Ketapang Branch is 27%. Thus the results of the study indicate that the Health Protocol, Ship's Crew, and the port health office have a positive and significant impact on Shipping Safety on ships owned by PT.
