Abstract

Performance Distribution Logistics can be assumed to consist of a series of each connected from a production plant with a warehouse and a series of distributors. Since each distributor is linked to a specific factory, it can be assumed that transportation costs between factories and warehouses are included in the production costs, and there is no transportation between distributors. The location of the distribution center is one of the initial activities that must be carried out before the company starts operating, determining the right location will affect the company's ability to serve shipments. Transportation is the movement of people or goods from one place to another by using a tool that is driven by humans or machines. Availability of Goods owned by the company at a certain point with the intention of reselling either directly or through the production process in the circulation of the company including goods that are still in the production process or waiting to be used. Communication is an activity that is often neglected in logistics systems, due to the lack of data processing and data delivery equipment that can handle the required flow of information. In this study, the performance of logistics distribution is influenced by several factors including: Distribution Center Location, Transportation, Availability of Goods and Communication. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis using the SPSS Version 25 application. The results of the t-test hypothesis testing showed that the Location of Distribution Centers, Transportation, Availability of Goods and Communications had a positive and partially significant effect on the Logistics Distribution Performance. Based on the results of the study, it is known that the research model of the multiple linear regression equation resulted in the following equation: Y = -1.147+ 0.334.X1 + 0.181.X2 + 0.318.X3 + 0.302.X4 + µ From the equation results show that the Distribution Center Location variable (X1) has (t count 3,677 > t table 1,990), Transportation variable (X2) has (t count 2,290 > t table 1,990), the Availability of Goods variable (X3) has (t count 4,091 > t table 1.990) and Communication variable (X4) has (t count 4.574 > t table 1.990). As for the value of Adjusted R2 = 0.676. This means that 67.6% of the variation in the dependent variable (Y), namely the Logistics Distribution Performance is explained by the independent variables, namely the Location of Distribution Centers, Transportation, Availability of Goods and Communication. The remaining 100% - 67.6% = 32.4%, influenced by other variables outside the study. Keywords: Logistics Distribution Performance, Distribution Center Location, Transportation, Availability of Goods and communication.
