Abstract

Congestion is a situation or condition of stagnation or even cessation of traffic caused by the large number of vehicles exceeding the capacity of the road. . Cycle time is the length of time required for a sequence of phase sequences of a traffic signal to cycle. A signalized intersection is an intersection consisting of several arms and equipped with traffic light signaling settings. Traffic volume is the number of vehicles defined as the number of vehicles that pass at a point on a road segment or in a lane during a certain time interval. Based on the results of research and multiple analysis, the following equations are generated: Y = 0.286 + 0.380 X1 + 0.385 X2 + 0.219 X3 + μ Shows that, based on empirical data (the results of filling out the questionnaire) and the results of multiple linear regression, it shows that the Cycle Time variable (X1) has a tcount value. 4.075 > 1.98638 t table then, H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. Variable Geometric Intersection (X2) has a value of tcount 5.293 > ttable 1.98638, so H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. The Traffic Volume Variable (X3) has a tcount of 3.427 and a ttable of 1,98638, so H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. Thus the results of the study show that there is a positive and significant effect between Cycle Time, Geometric Intersection and Traffic Volume on Congestion. Keywords: Cycle Time, Geometric Intersection, Traffic Volume, Congestion
