Abstract
Sailing Safety is influenced by several factors including the Manning of the Ship, Safety Tools and Sailing Navigation Aids. Of the three, have an important role in improving Shipping Safety. The purpose of this study was to determine whether or not there is an effect of Ship Manning, Safety Equipment, and Shipping Navigation Aids on Sailing Safety at the Cilacap Fishing Port. In this study, the research population is fishermen at the Cilacap Fishing Port with a sampling system with a total of 100 respondents (samples). The variables in this study consist of: the independent variable is Ship Manning (X1), Safety Equipment (X2), and Sailing Navigation Aids (X3) and the dependent variable is Sailing Safety (Y). The research model is multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the analysis using the statistical tool SPSS V.25 program obtained multiple linear regression equations are Y = 3.020 + 0.445 X1 + 0.198 X2 + 0.188 X3 + . The results of multiple linear equations indicate that there is a positive and significant influence between Ship Manning on Shipping Safety (t count 7.404 > t table of 1.98498), Sailing Navigation Aids (t count 2.522 > t table 1.98498), individual Ship Manning ,Safety Tools, and Sailing Navigation Aids on Sailing Safety The influence of the three research variables is very strong with the coefficient value (R Square) obtained by 52.1% on Sailing Safety and 47.9% is influenced by variables that are not detected in the study. this.
