Abstract
MT SG Bahari Ship Crew Recruitment System By PT. Samudera Gemilang Bahari Jakarta aims to determine the state of Human Resources (HR) which is the initial process in a company's efforts to realize its goals. The selection of workers is very important for the operation of ships of sea transportation companies in accordance with the needs of the company. PT. Samudera Gemilang Bahari Jakarta provides reliable Ship Crew workers according to the needs of the Owner or User in this case the ship owned by PT. Samudera Gemilang Bahari Jakarta has a defined procedure for the crew recruitment process, starting from the Curriculum Vitae Review, to the transfer of offshore crew. The method used by the author in solving the problem is a qualitative research method which emphasizes the meaning of data collection techniques (combined) with serveral methods. From the research during the author's Land Practice, it can be concluded that the company PT. Samudera Gemilang Bahari Jakarta is already good at recruiting ship crew. Although each company has established Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), in the Recruitment Crew ship PT. Samudera Gemilang Bahari Jakarta, there are still external and internal constraints that must be minimized so that the workforce is managed efficiently. The existence of information management and data screening for prospective crew members is proven to be able to reduce the impact of crew recruitment in achieving workforce efficiency and effectiveness in the company's operational activities to achieve its goals.
