Abstract
Handling of ship arrivals and departures is an activity handled by the shipping company's operational department. The background of the problem in writing the paper is handling the arrival and departure of coal ships TB.Medelin I BG.Sentana Marine at PT.Samudra Adhi Jaya at PRTS Pier 3 Rembang, there are still obstacles in handling document processing so that it slows down the ship handling process. The purpose of this paper is to find out about the handling of agent services when handling ship arrivals and departures at PRTS Pier 3 Rembang. In the process of collecting data to show the contents of the paper, the author uses several methods in terms of the source, the author uses interviews, observation and document studies. The conclusion of this paper is that the author gains knowledge and insight regarding the handling of ship arrivals and departures so as to facilitate the handling of ship arrivals and departures. The results of this paper are to determine the handling of arrivals and departures of ships TB.Medelin I BG.Sentana Marine, documents needed when handling ship arrivals and departures, parties involved in handling ship arrivals and departures, obstacles in handling the arrival and departure of ships.
