Abstract
The main topic of discussion in writing the paper is port services for dry bulk unloading of petroleum coke at Jamrud Terminal Surabaya. The background of the problem in this paper, namely services in the process of unloading dry bulk petroleum coke at the Jamrud Terminal Surabaya is one of the places where the author makes observations on the activities of unloading dry bulk petroleum coke, the agencies involved in unloading activities, the documents required on the unloading activities, as well as unloading equipment used in dry bulk unloading of petroleum coke. The purpose of writing this paper is to find out the documents needed in the unloading of dry bulk petroleum coke, the equipment used for unloading activities, the relevant agencies, as well as the obstacles that occur in the dry bulk unloading activities, especially the petroleum coke commodity. The process of collecting data to support the contents of the paper, the author uses qualitative methods and the author’s data sources use primary and secondary data. While the method of collecting the authors use the method of interview, observation, documentation method, literature study. The results of the observation that the implementation of the unloading of petroleum coke has been completed with the problems that the authors found such as the unloading equipment used, the documents prepared and the documents produced, the parties involved in the process of unloading activities, as well as the emergence of obstacles during the unloading activity, the conclusions from the observations that have been made are. The author did the dismantling of petroleum coke which had been completed with what had been determined. Keywords : Services, Unloading, Petroleum Coke
