Abstract

This study aims to determine the operational performance of the terminal at the Magersari Type C Terminal in the city of Magelang, regarding the terminal as a base for motorized vehicles to regulate arrivals and departures, raise and lower passengers and/or goods, and transfer modes of transportation. The terminal also has an important role as an element of spatial planning in relation to increasing mobility and efficiency of city life, the location and facilities of the terminal are the main things that can influence and attract people's interest to use the terminal. This study is to determine the effect of the variables related in this study such as terminal facilities, volume of passenger vehicles, and terminal location with the operational performance of the terminal in the Magersari type C terminal in Magelang city. The sample in this study were 100 respondents who were users of city transportation at the Magersari type C terminal through a non-probability sampling technique using quota sampling. Data collection using questionnaires. This type of research is quantitative research using multiple linear regression data analysis method with the results: Y= 0.100 + 0.266.X1 + 0.530.X2 + 0.178.X3 + µ. From the results of this study there is a relationship between the independent variable and the dependent variable, hypothesis testing using the t test shows that the four independent variables are terminal facilities of 0.266 (X1), passenger vehicle volume of 0.530 (X2), and terminal location of 0.178 (X3) which investigated proved to have a positive and significant effect on the dependent variable terminal operational performance (Y). In the coefficient of determination test (R square) the Adjust R Square value of 0.511 means that 51.1% of the variation in the dependent variable is terminal operational performance. While other factors that affect the operational performance of the terminal (100% - 51.1%) = 48.9%. So, the remaining 48.9%. is a factor of other variables that are not proposed in this study.
