Abstract

This study aims to measure and examine the effect of traffic knowledge on traffic compliance, measure and test the influence of community culture on traffic compliance, measure the effect of driver understanding on traffic compliance and to test. and collectively measure and test the effect of traffic knowledge, community culture, and driver understanding on traffic compliance. Based on the results of the t-test (t-test) it can be concluded: (X1) The variable knowledge of traffic has a significant effect on traffic compliance. The result of tcount > ttable (3.726 > 1.984), then the hypothesis is accepted. This means that the higher the level of knowledge of the driver, the better the compliance with traffic regulations. (X2) The variable of community culture has a significant effect on traffic compliance, the value of the hypothesis test t count > t table (2,777 > 1,984). This means that the motorcycle rider community has a good driving culture, which will affect the community's ability to obey traffic rules. (X3) the driver's understanding variable has a significant effect on traffic compliance. The results of the hypothesis test show that t count > t table (2,641 > 1,984), so the hypothesis is accepted. This means that the higher the level of understanding of the driver, the greater the impact on people's compliance with traffic rules. The variables of traffic knowledge, community culture and driver's understanding together have a significant effect on compliance with traffic regulations. Keywords: Traffic knowledge, Community culture and Compliance
