Abstract

Ship Sailing Safety as one of the goals of a mode of sea transportation, where safety is a fixed price in the creation of smooth, comfortable and safe transportation. This study aims to determine whether the dependent variable ECDIS Use (X1), Using ISM Code (X2), Ship Seaworthiness (X3) has an effect on increasing Shipping Safety and the independent variables (Ecdis Use, Using ism code, and Shipworthiness) simultaneously affect the Improvement of Shipping Safety at Tanjung Intan Port, Cilacap. This research uses a case study method where data is obtained through a questionnaire method with a google form. Going in and out of ships at Tanjung Intan Cilacap, Class II Authority in 2021. Infinite population. While in this study a sample of 75 people. With nonprobability sampling technique and purposive sampling technique. The data analysis technique used is Multiple Regression analysis technique including Validity Test, Reliability Test, Classical Assumption Test and Hypothesis Testing. Based on the analysis, the regression equation is obtained as follows : Y = 0,753 + 0,317 + 0,343 + 0,254 + µ The results of this study indicate that the ECDIS usability variable (X1) partially has a positive and significant effect on increasing shipping safety, the variable using the ISM Code (X2) partially has a positive and significant effect on increasing shipping safety, the shipworthiness variable (X3) partially has a positive and significant effect on shipping safety. significant effect on increasing shipping safety, Simultaneously independent variables (use of ecdis, use ism code, and seaworthiness of ships) have a positive and significant effect on increasing shipping safety. on the coefficient of determination test (R2) Adjust R square value of 0.575 means 57.5% Variation of the dependent variable or shipping safety can be explained by the independent variable using Ecdis. While the remaining 42.5% is explained by other reasons outside the variables studied. Keywords: Shipping Safety, ECDIS, ISM Code, Ship's Seaworthiness
