Abstract

This study aims to determine whether the leadership , motivation , work discipline and work experiences affect the productivity of labor in Semarang Container Terminal with data collection using primary and secondary data . The population used in this study were all employees of the Container Terminal Semarang . The sample used in this study of 100 respondents and the technique used is the technique of Non - probability sampling with purposive sampling approach ( sampling with particular consideration in accordance with the desired destination ) . The analytical method used is quantitative analysis is multiple regression analysis include: validity and reliability, classical assumption , hypothesis testing through t test , and analysis of the coefficient of determination ( R2 ) . Based on this analysis , regression equation as follows : Y = 1,653 + 0,195 X1 + 0,161 X2 + 0,162 X3 + 0,384 X4 + μ Where the Work Productivity variable (Y), leadership variable (X1), motivation variable (X2), work discipline variable (X3), and variable work experience (X4). Correlation coefficient of 0.772 in this study where the value of the relationship between independent variables and the dependent variable is equal to 77.2%. Hypothesis testing using t test showed that the four independent variables are leadership (X1), motivation (X2), work discipline (X3) and work experience (X4) studied proved to be positively and significantly affect the dependent variable is labor productivity (Y). In the test the coefficient of determination (R Square) value of Adjusted R Square of 0.579 means that 42.1% of the variation dependent variable labor productivity can be explained by the independent variable leadership, motivation, work discipline and work experience. While the remaining 42.1% is explained by other causes beyond the variables studied. Keywords: Leadership, motivation, work discipline, work experience, work productivity.
