Abstract
Demak-Purwodadi highway is a road that is dense with vehicles for road users, including two-wheeled or four-wheeled or more riders. The high number of motorcycle accidents shows the level of awareness of driving safety is still very low. Driving safety is an effort to minimize the level of danger and maximize safety in driving in order to create safe and secure conditions. The purpose of this study was to determine whether there is an influence between driver behavior, traffic discipline, rider concentration and road conditions on motorcycle driving safety on the Demak-Purwodadi highway. The technique used is non-probability sampling with a sampling technique using incidental sampling of 100 respondents. Questionnaire data processing is assisted by statistical software SPSS version 25. The analytical method used is multiple linear regression analysis. Based on the results of statistical testing using multiple linear regression, the following regression model was obtained: Y = -3,716 + 0,729X1 + 0,168X2 + 0,176X3 + 0,185X4 + µ The results of multiple linear regression research indicate that there is a positive and partially significant effect of driver behavior on driving safety (tcount 8,704 > ttable 1,98498), traffic discipline on driving safety (tcount 2,316 > ttable 1,98498), concentration of drivers on driving safety (tcount 2.021 > ttable 1.98498), road conditions on driving safety (tcount 2,258 > ttable 1,98498. The influence of the four research variables is very strong, as evidenced by testing the coefficient of determination (test R2) with an Adjusted R Square value of 54%.
