Abstract
ADMIANA SAMSA DAMILA, 2022 “Ship Service Procedures at the Labuhan Haji Local Port UPTD Office”. Thesis on the Transportation study program, . Advisor I: Sulistyowati, S.Tra, MM. Advisor II: Wasi Sumarsono, S. Kom, M.Kom. Number of pages + attachments 110 This study discusses ship service procedures. The purpose of this study was to determine the implementation of ship service procedures as well as the supporting and inhibiting factors at the Regional Technical Implementation Unit Office (UPTD) of the Labuhan Haji Local Port. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method by providing a systematic, factual and accurate description of the facts about ship service procedures at the port. And obtain data ini the form of information about the discussion both orally and in writing the findings of this study are: (1) the entry and exit of the ship is in accordance with the Standart Operating Procedur (SOP). (2) the processing of the required documents has been completed by the shipping company who acs as the ship’s agent after knowing the estimated time of arrival and estimated time o depature. (3) adding ship service facilities at the port to support the berthing/mooring process for loading and unloading. (4) Supporting factors for ship service have been maximized in increacing the competence of human resources in carring out their dutie. (5) inshibiting factors for ship services, one of which is the weaters factor that is not conducive so that it affects ship movement activities at the port Based on the results of interviews, observations and documentation as well as other data collection both from primary data and secondary data, it shows that the implementation of ship service procedures at the Labuhan Haji Local Port UPTD Office has been going well although there are several things that must be improved and improved so that ship service procedures can run optimally and in order to achieve the purpose of shipping security and safety.
