Abstract
ABSTRACT This research is based on facts in the field, namely the problems caused by the driving safety of motorbike riders on the Suramadu Bridge which are very complex, ranging from accidents, order and comfort to users of the Suramadu Bridge, causing the bridge access to be poorly maintained. Caused by several factors including road conditions, driving discipline, completeness of safety and lack of awareness of motorcycle riders crossing the Suramadu Bridge, especially on the Madura side, resulting in traffic problems such as accidents caused by motorcycle riders who violate the rules and act arbitrarily men. Formulation of the problem, research objectives and hypotheses in this study is to analyze the positive and significant influence individually between independent variables, namely road conditions, driving discipline, completeness of safety on driving safety on the Suramadu Bridge on the Madura side. In this study, the object taken was a motorcycle rider who crossed the Suramadu Bridge on the Madura side. Sources of data include secondary and primary data with as many as 100 respondents who are motorcycle riders on the Suramadu Bridge. Using multiple linear regression analysis technique with SPSS IBM V.25 tool which produces regression equation Y=0,245 + 0,230X1 + 0,499 X2 + 0,226 X3 +µ . Shows that there is a positive and partially significant effect between road conditions on driving safety (t count 2,636>t table) 1.198447), driving discipline on driving safety (t count 4,422> t table 1,98447), safety completeness on driving safety (t count 2,385>t table 1,98447). The coefficient of determination gets an Adjusted R square value of 0.627, thus 62.7%, the remaining 37.3% (100%-62.7%) is caused by other factors.
