Abstract

The Republic of Indonesia which is in the form of an archipelago and has abundant natural resources, especially in the mining aspect, namely oil is very abundant in Indonesia. With this, Barite or Barite is a mineral consisting of barium sulfate which functions as a weighting material in oil well drilling mud. Barite is very much needed in Indonesia because Indonesia is one of the oil-producing countries in the world which makes Barite one of the imported goods commodities that are often imported in Indonesia. The purpose of this study was to determine the dismantling of dry bulk barite, the equipment used, the documents required, and the costs required for the demolition of Barite MV. MBS Buyan by PT. Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero) at Terminal Jamrud Utara Surabaya. Methods of collecting data were interviews, direct field observations, and document studies. Data processing was carried out qualitatively and the results were presented descriptively. The results of observations in the implementation of dry bulk unloading have passed through 3 stages, namely, Stevedoring, Cargodoring, and Receiving Delivery. The conclusion is that the implementation of the activities is in accordance with the dry bulk demolition work procedure that has been set by PT. Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero).
