Abstract

PT. Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero) is a State-Owned Enterprise engaged in the transportation sector which is given the task, authority and responsibility to manage public ports in 7 provinces covering the areas of East Java, Central Java, Bali, Central Kalimantan, South Kalimantan, West Nusa Tenggara. and East Nusa Tenggara. PT. Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero) which runs its core business as a port service provider, has a key role to ensure and provide sea transportation, so that with the availability of adequate sea transportation infrastructure, it will be able to drive and stimulate the economic activities of the state and society. The purpose of writing is to find out the arrangement of the warehouse stacking to facilitate loading and unloading activities at the Jamrud Pelindo Terminal Surabaya, to find out the process of receiving delivery at the warehouse stacking at the Jamrud Pelindo Terminal Surabaya, to find out the obstacles in the process of receiving and delivering cargo in the warehouse warehouse at the Jamrud Pelindo Terminal Surabaya. The purpose of writing is to find out the arrangement of the warehouse stacking to facilitate loading and unloading activities at the Jamrud Pelindo Terminal Surabaya, to find out the process of receiving delivery at the warehouse stacking at the Jamrud Pelindo Terminal Surabaya, to find out the obstacles in the process of receiving and delivering cargo in the warehouse warehouse at the Jamrud Pelindo Terminal Surabaya. . The method that the author uses is using qualitative data by collecting interview data, observation and documentation studies. And using primary and secondary data sources. The results obtained from the qualitative method are interviews, documentation studies, and observations. The conclusion drawn by the author is the application of the results of the arrangement of warehouse stacking with applications and manuals at PT. The Surabaya branch of the Port of Indonesia is very helpful in the warehouse receiving delivery process. In its implementation it is good and of course it cannot be separated from the obstacles that occur. Such as internet connection that sometimes has problems, incorrect input data that is not valid and data that is sometimes not the same between the field and the office warehouse. However, it has been anticipated as little as possible so that everything is carried out smoothly and adds to the trust of relations with shipping goods by sea quickly, practically and easily in terms of management. Storage warehouse at PT. Pelabuhan Indonesia Surabaya branch to facilitate receiving delivery activities from warehouses to ships and from ships to warehouses must pay attention to the provisions of the receiving delivery process in the warehouse so that trucking of cargo from warehouses or ships does not hinder loading and unloading, such as delays in trucks that will transport cargo.
