Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Rescue Equipment Facilities, Shipworthiness, Crew Resources, and Weather Factors partially on the safety of passengers on ship crews and KM. Dharma Kartika VII. In this study, the sampling technique used is Probability Sampling with the Simple Random Sampling method because the elements to be selected at random without regard to the strata of the ship's crew and KM. Dharma Kartika VII as many as 80 people. The analytical method used is descriptive analysis and quantitative analysis. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis with the help of (software) SSPS version 25. The results of multiple linear regression analysis obtained the following equation : Y = -1,176 + 0,334X1 + 0,181X2 + 0,318X3 + 0,302X4 + µ The constant value of -1.176 means that if the independent variable is considered constant, then Passenger Safety has a value of -1.176, the regression coefficient value of the Rescue Equipment Facility variable (X1) of 0.334 means that if it is increased by one unit while the other independent variables are considered constant, then the variable Passenger Safety will increase by 0.334. The regression coefficient value of the Shipworthiness variable (X2) is 0.181, meaning that if it is increased by one unit while the other independent variables are considered constant, then the Passenger Safety variable will increase by 0.181. The regression coefficient value of the Crew Resources (X3) variable is 0.318, meaning that if it is increased by one unit while the other independent variables are considered constant, then the Passenger Safety variable will increase by 0.318. The regression coefficient value of the Weather Factor variable (X4) is 0.302, meaning that if it is increased by one unit while the other independent variables are considered constant, then the Passenger Safety variable will increase by 0.302.
