Abstract

Office of the District Department of Transportation Mempawah as institutions that perform local autonomy in the areas of Transportation, has the authority in coaching, supervision and implementation in the field of transportation. Field of the transportation department's focus on taking care of the flow of freight traffic or those that occurred in the district of Mempawah, checking the feasibility of the vehicle and secure the road in important events. Therefore, it needs employees who are reliable and professional in order to achieve good work. The purpose of this study is to determine how much influence the independent variable (the work environment, compensation and work discipline) on the dependent variable is the performance of employees partially and simultaneously or together. In this study, the object is taken office employee Mempawah District Department of Transportation, West Kalimantan Province. Sources of data include primary and secondary data. Samples are 65 respondents who are employees of the Office of Transportation. The technique used is the probability sampling technique with Simple Random Sampling, which is where researchers in selecting the sample to provide equal opportunities to all members of the population. Data analysis technique is the technique of linear regression. Based on the results of research and analysis produced multiple equation: Y = 3,701 + 0,303 x1 + 0,199 x2 + 0.275 x3 + μ The results of multiple linear regression equation shows that there is a positive influence partially between the work environment on employee performance (t count 3,190> t table 1.9996), compensation to employee performance (t count 2,214> t table 1.9996), and work discipline the performance of employees (3.732 t count> t table 1.9996). As for the feasibility test model (24.326 F count> F table 2.75). The third influence is very strong research variables correlation value Adjusted R2 = 0.522. Simultaneously work environment, compensation, and working discipline 52.2% effect on the performance of employees and 47.8% are influenced by the variables that were not detected in this study. From the research and data analysis can be concluded if the independent variable (the work environment, compensation and working discipline) positive and significant effect on the dependent variable employee performance, either partially or simultaneously.
