Abstract
PT. Pelabuhan Indonesia I (Persero) Dumai Branch is a State-Owned Enterprise (BUMN) company engaged in port service activities. PT. Indonesia Port I Dumai Branch is tasked to provide Ship and Goods Services. There is already a dock facility. In the dock there is a place for the ship to lean so that it can carry out loading and unloading activities. Unloading of goods is a transfer from sea transportation mode to land transportation mode. From the experience of Landline Midshipmen at PT. The Indonesia I (Persero) Harbor Dumai Branch saw and noticed the demolition on the ocean dock. To be able to dismantle from the ship there are steps that must be done. Such as the submission of PPKB to PPSA then after the ship docked then an operational inspection was carried out and after completion all the service was carried out from the ship to the stockpiling warehouse through a fleet of trucks. When the development on the dock uses tools including ship cranes, grabs, hoppers, trucks and loaders. The obstacles that often occur during demolition include such a shortage of truck fleets, weather or rain factors, and damage to loading equipment. So that in the process of demolition, it is necessary to pay attention to checking the unloading equipment and facilities carefully so that during the demolition there are no obstacles that hinder. The aim of the author is to compile a paper about demolition at PT. Pelabuhan Indonesia I (Persero) Dumai Branch is to be able to know the procedures and documents and obstacles that often occur when the demolition takes place.The method that I use to compile this paper is to use the method of observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the writing that the writer collated are expected to help colleagues / junior-junior to better understand the procedures for demolition at PT. Indonesian Port I (Persero) Dumai Branch. Prosecutor prior to the execution of demolition activities once arranged starts from meetings and preparation of documents by the Loading and Unloading Company (PBM).
