Abstract
In the process of transportation, some cargo is well organized. where each charge requires special attention. Starting from packaging, loading on the ship, separation with other cargoes, and how to handle cargo when on board the ship, PT. Cemindo Gemilang Bayah is one of the places, where the author makes observations on the loading of the clinker, starting from preparation to completion of loading. This paper aims to find out and explain about the correct loading handling process activities, related parties as long as the loading process and find out the causes of idle time that often occurs in clinker loading. The method used in this paper is descriptive which is carried out during the four months of PRADA. The data used are primary and secondary data. Primary data are collected by observing research objects and interviews directly at research objects, while secondary data are obtained from books, journals and literature studies. Based on the results of the discussion, it has been obtained that in the loading activities of the Special Terminal clinker, it plays an important role as a provider of loading and unloading activities facilities. The conclusion of this discussion is that the operational parties of the Special Terminal and loading and unloading companies play a very important role in loading activities and must improve better communication, so that these activities run smoothly.
