Abstract
The process of shipping goods by sea has been known and implemented for a long time by the wider community, because it is considered faster and more economical, because it can accommodate very large numbers of shipping trips from one island to another. The background is related to the flow of goods to the port, the company opens a new agent in each port to serve non-purpose ships in this paper to find out documents, agencies, procedures, and obstacles in handling inaportnet. In collecting data, the author uses the method of observation, interviews, document studies, and literature studies. From the results of the writing, it is concluded that applying for Agency Services Using the Inaportnet System does not use the manual method as before, but uses the Inapo rtnet System which makes it easier for companies to become agents, because agents do not always have to be at the port or other relevant agencies / off the ship. However, the entire system uses a portal (online) that can be accessed at their respective offices. Which is directly controlled by the Ministry of Transportation of the Republic of Indonesia. In becoming an agent for ships, the shipping company PT. Serasi Shipping Indonesia is also obliged to re-check ship documents and ship crew documents.
