Abstract

The main discussion in the writing of this paper is regarding the Documentation Process for the Draft Survey of the 3802 Island Barge at the Paiton Steam Power Plant Port by PT. Surveyor Indonesia Surabaya Branch. There are several backgrounds that the author must complete, namely the process of managing the survey draft documentation and the obstacles faced in the survey draft activities. PT. Surveyor Indonesia Surabaya branch which is an inspection service company or survey service especially in coal where PT. Surveyor Indonesia Surabaya branch will provide coal survey services. The purpose of writing this paper is none other than to find out how the process of managing the draft survey document for barges and knowing the obstacles in the draft survey process for barges. Based on data collection that was carried out during land practice (prada), the authors used several methods, namely observation, interviews, and document studies. The result of the discussion of this paper is the completion of the survey draft documentation process by PT. Surveyor Indonesia Surabaya branch will run smoothly without a hitch if each party can fulfill the established procedures. Keywords: Process, documentation management, and draft survey
