Abstract
Compressor screw is a machine or mechanical device that functions to increase pressure or compress gas or air fluid. Compressors use electric motors, diesel engines or gasoline engines as propulsion. The compressor is in charge of sucking and compressing the air from the way it moves. In this case the author of this scientific work based on the method of observation and direct interviews with the chief mechanic and operator of PT. Tripilar Betonmas Salatiga, From the analysis shows that overheating of the screw causes the oil filter to clog, dirt on the oil separator, lubrication of the screw bearing is not optimal. So to prevent and maximize screw compressors is to perform maintenance, both scheduled maintenance and incidental maintenance. Demanded to be fast and responsive if there are known disturbances or symptoms to minimize further damage so as not to harm the company. Keywords: Compressor Screw, Overheating, Lubricants
