Abstract
At this time, the provision of material for vocabulary learning is still conventional, where the lecturer provides vocabulary and pronunciation. The cadets and cadets will memorize by memorizing words one by one without any tools except notes written by the lecturer or looking at a dictionary. This method not only makes cadets and cadets difficult to remember vocabulary but also makes it difficult for cadets and cadets to learn due to several factors such as poor memory, laziness and others. With the difficulty of memorizing vocabulary results in the ability to understand English orally and in writing is not optimal. By applying learning and teaching media using technology in the form of the U-Dictionary application, it gives cadets and cadets a better and more enjoyable understanding of English vocabulary, thereby increasing cadets and cadets' ability to understand vocabulary and pronunciation.
