Abstract

Motor vehicle testing process is a series of activities to test and/or inspect parts or components of motorized vehicles, trailers, and attached trains in the context of compliance with technical and roadworthy requirements Periodic test is a motor vehicle test that is carried out periodically on every motorized vehicle, trailer, trailer that is operated on the road. This study aims to determine the effect of facilities, test equipment, location and competence on the quality of motor vehicle testing services at the Department of Transportation of Demak Regency. The population in this study were all people who were carrying out periodic vehicle feasibility tests at the Department of Transportation of Demak Regency and a sample of 100 respondents. With non-probability sampling technique, this type of sampling quota. Collecting data using a questionnaire, and the method of analysis used is multiple linear regression analysis. From the results of this study, it can be seen that the multiple linear equation model: Y = 0,189 + 0,203X1 + 0,246X2 + 0,257X3 + 0,218X4 + µ indicates that there is a partial positive effect on Facilities (X1), Test Equipment (X2), Location (X3), and Competence (X4) on Quality Service (Y). the influence of the independent variable in this study the correlation coefficient of determination (adjuster R2) = 0.526 which means that 52,6% Variations in the dependent variable of service quality can be explained by the variables of facilities, test equipment, location and competence. While the remaining 47,4%, explained by other reasons outside the variables studied. Keywords: Terminal, Test Equipment, Location, Competence and Quality Service
