Abstract
Transportation is a very important field of activity in the activities of the Indonesian people. The importance of transportation for the community is caused by several factors such as the geographical conditions of thousands of islands. Therefore, the importance of the need for transportation is the need for comfort, security and smoothness in order to support the smooth development, distribution and equity in various aspects. which is still lacking in supporting the smoothness of the transportation system. For this reason, it is necessary to measure the level of the sea transportation system related to port administration, government authority, and infrastructure development. This study aims to determine the effect of port administration, government authority and infrastructure development on the marine transportation system. This study also aims to analyze the factors that have the most dominant influence on the sea transportation system. This research was conducted using a questionnaire method to 100 respondents, 50 KUPP REMBANG officers, 10 ship agents, and 40 port administration officers. The analysis technique in this study uses multiple linear regression analysis. The regression formulation in this study is as follows: Y =1.068 +0.319X1+0.426X2+0.144X3 + The results of multiple regression research indicate that there is a partial positive effect of port administration on the sea transportation system (t count 3.400> t table 1.66088), the government's authority over the sea transportation system (t count 3.764> t table 1.66088) and infrastructure development on the sea transportation system (t count 1.573> table 1.66088). The influence of the two research variables is very strong with a correlation value of Adjusted R2 = 0.542. Keywords: port administration, government authority, infrastructure development and marine transportation system.
