Abstract
Indonesia is an archipelagic country that has a structure of islands that are widely spread. The high level of exports and imports that occur requires a container to handle this. Pontianak Container Terminal is a container company that handles gate services and loading and unloading services for the delivery of an item. The purpose of this study was to determine whether there is an effect of the application of autogate, loading and unloading performance, and stacking yards on the effectiveness of shipping goods. One method that can be used in the analysis of the effect is the multiple linear regression method. Data was collected through observation, literature study, interviews, documentation and questionnaires. The analysis technique used is multiple linear regression with the help of SPSS V.26 program. Based on the results of multiple research and analysis, the following equations are generated: Y = -692 + 0.480X1+ 0.542X2 + 0.018X3 + Based on the results of filling out the questionnaire and the results of multiple linear regression equations, it shows that the variable of the application of the auto gate system (X1) has ((tcount 10.272 > ttable 1.991), the loading and unloading performance variable (X2) has (tcount 11.296 > ttable 1.991), and the variable stacking field ( X3) has (tcount 632 < ttable 1,991). While the value of adjusted R2 = 0.909. This means that 90.9% of the variation in the dependent variable (Y), namely the effectiveness of shipping goods can be explained or caused by the independent variables, namely, the application of the auto gate system (X1), loading and unloading performance (X2,), container stacking yard (X3),. While the remaining 100% - 90.9%% = 9.1%, explained by reasons other than the variables studied.
