Abstract
Along with the development of the times, especially in this discussion, the shipping world which is currently growing rapidly, therefore the guarantee of safety while at sea should also be improved, because the hectic flow of trade will also have an impact on the bustling shipping lanes where no one is involved. know that the risk of a disaster incident at sea can occur at any time. And with the existence of a team from BASARNAS (National Search and Rescue Agency) can provide assistance or assistance when a disaster or accident occurs in the water. The purpose of this observation is to find out about the importance of the role of the National SAR Agency as an effort to implement the prevention and control of the occurrence of distress at sea. Which in carrying out its duties is also supported by one of its fleet units, which is none other than KN.SAR SADEWA 231 as the spearhead of the implementation of search and rescue operations in the event of distress at sea. The method taken by the author is a direct observation method based on field research that has been carried out while undergoing land practice activities at KN.SAR SADEWA 231 belonging to (BASARNAS) Semarang, the author also conducted interviews with the captain of the KN.SAR SADEWA 231 National SAR Agency (BASARNAS). ) Semarang and conducted a literature study that the author took from literary sources related to the discussion of Search And Rescue (SAR) material and documentation that was taken directly. The result of this paper is that the task of carrying out operations to overcome the danger at sea carried out by the entire crew of KN.SAR SADEWA 231 belonging to the National SAR Agency of Semarang has complied with the rules that have been determined both according to national and international rules.
