Abstract
This study aims to examine the effect of profitability, leverage, and firm size on firm value. The research sample used in this study were transportation companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2016-2020 period. This study takes the object of transportation companies listed on the Indonesian stock exchange. The sample selected in this study were 26 transportation companies, so the number of observations for 5 years was 130 with multiple linear regression analysis techniques, namely: Y = 7.555 + 0.085 X1 + 0.177 X2 - 0.300 X3 + The results of the linear equation research show that the profitability variable (X1) has a t count of 1.046 < t table 1.97882, which means that the profitability variable (X1) has no effect on firm value. The t-count value of the leverage variable (X2) has a t-count of 0.947 < ttable 1.97882, which means that the leverage variable (X2) has no effect on firm value. The t value of the size variable (X3) has a t count of -3.548 > ttable 1.97882 which means that the variable size (X3) has a negative effect on firm value. The results of the determination test show that profitability, leverage, and firm size, which are independent variables, are able to explain the value of the company as dependent by 23% while the remaining 87% is influenced by other factors outside the model.
