Abstract
Indonesia is the biggest archipelago country in the world. Transportation is one of the keys to development and an inseparable part of human life. Especially sea transportation which is used as a spear to support the country's economy. Therefore, it must continue to improve things that support the advancement of sea transportation. This study aims to determine the effect of ship manning, ship operation tools and safety equipment partially on the ship's marine worthiness (a case study at Jepara port). The population in this study was taken from the crew or fishermen of the fishing vessels at the Jepara Port Administration Unit (UPP) and the sample used in this study was 100 respondents. The sampling technique used is a type of incidental sampling technique. The analysis method used in this research is descriptive analysis and quantitative analysis, then the data is analyzed using multiple linear regression with the help of (software) Statistic Package for Social Science (SPSS). The results of the hypothesis test show that the variables of Ship Manning, Ship Operations Equipment and Safety Equipment have a partial effect on Shipbuilding. The results of multiple linear regression analysis obtained Y = - 1.192 + 0.478X1 + 0.255X2 + 0.369X3 + µ. From this equation, it is known that the most dominant variable that has an effect on shipbuilding is the ship crew variable with a regression coefficient of 0.478. The R2 (R square) test resulted in a result of 0.593 or 59.3%, which means that the Oceanworthiness of the Ship is influenced by the variables of Ship Manning, Ship Operation Equipment and Safety Equipment, which is 59.3% and other factors that affect Shipworthiness, namely 40, 7%. Keywords : Ship Manning, Ship Operation Equipment, Safety Equipment, and Ship Marine Affairs
